Methods 24 male SD rats were divided randomly into sham operation group , AMI group and EPO groups, the left anterior descending coronary artery ligation rat AMI model was built, EPO group while giving the rhEPO 5 000 U / kg intraperitoneal injection; 24 h after rats were recorded and calculated left ventricular hemodynamic infarction and left ventricular mass ratio. Results of the AMI group hemodynamic parameters were significantly decreased; EPO group was significantly improved hemodynamic parameters (P lt;0.05, P lt;0.01), reflecting in particular, indicators of myocardial diastolic function improved more significantly (P lt;0.01); EPO significantly reduced left ventricular mass and left ventricular infarct area ratio (P lt;0.05). Conclusion The intervention reduced EPO acute infarct size after AMI in rats, and significantly improve hemodynamic parameters, in particular, diastolic function improved more on apparent.
