Experimental results revealed that the binary system composed of benzylalcohol and n  octanol had two  fold higher distribution coefficient than n  butylalcobol while 2.5  fold of lower solubity in waterphase. Optimum volume concentration of benzyl alcohol in the system in the range of 60% ~ 80% (V / V) was selected, the co  extraction coefficient of 1.28 could be attained.
