Methods of HO  1 inducer cobalt protoporphyrin (CoPP) and inhibitor zinc protoporphyrin (ZnPP), respectively after treatment intervention, the establishment of rat myocardial ischemia - reperfusion injury model was observed after reperfusion in rats Myocardial morphological changes; detection of heme oxygenase- 1 gene expression in rat myocardium; determination of left ventricular myocardium of rats with superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and malondialdehyde (MDA) content. The results before reperfusion using CoPP pretreatment can induce HO  1 protein upregulation. HO  1 protein expression can reduce the ischemia - reperfusion myocardial necrosis, increased SOD content of heart tissue and reduce the MDA content. Conclusion CoPP-induced HO  1 overexpression can inhibit the myocardial ischemia - reperfusion injury of the cell necrosis, thereby reducing myocardial reperfusion injury, the main mechanism of antioxidant free radicals.
