Methods 12 healthy dogs were randomly divided into control group and the high-iron heme group. Hypothermia with seawater immersion model, the rectal temperature fell to 30 ℃ , in the experiments before and after the experiment rectal temperature taken at 30 ℃ were measured in plasma superoxide dismutase (SOD), total bilirubin (TB), aspartate transaminase (GOT), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), creatine kinase (CK), creatine kinase isoenzyme (CKMB), interleukin -6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF - α ) levels. Results of hemin group intraperitoneal injection of hemin two days later, the production of low-temperature models before the rectal temperature 39 ℃ when compared with the control group, SOD significantly higher difference between the groups was statistically significant (P amp;lt;0.05). Production of hypothermia model will be two groups of animals, rectal temperature fell to 30 ℃ , high-iron heme group of SOD, TB control group (P amp;lt;0.05); GOT, LDH, CK, CKMB, IL-6, TNF - a lower than the control group (P amp;lt;0.05). Conclusion of heme oxygenase inducer hemin can be to some extent to improve the level of serum bilirubin, increase SOD activity, increased serum total antioxidant capacity of low temperature injury in a certain protective effect.
