Results azithromycin linear range of 50.3 ~ 1006μg/ml, average recovery was 100.1%, r = 1.0000, RSD = 0.8% (n = 9). Conclusion Determination of HPLC results with microbiological assays showed no significant difference. This method can be accurate, quickly and easily determine the content of azithromycin powder. Results The linear range was in therange of 50.3 ~ 1006μg/ml (r = 1.0000), and the mean recovery (n = 9) was 100.1% (RSD = 0.8%). Conclusion The method is rapid, simple and accurate to determine the content of azithromycin powder.
