HPLC determination of the content of quercetin in hawthorn fruits
[Abstract] Objective To establish the HPLC determination of quercetin content in Hawthorn method. Methods chromatographic conditions: Shim-Pack VP-ODSC18 column, mobile phase was methanol -0.4% phosphoric acid (52:48, V / V), detection wavelength was 373 nm. The results of the regression equation of quercetin Y = 2 855.4X-10 974 (r = 0.999 9, n = 5), the linear range of 0.018 9 ~ 0.056 6μ g; the average recovery was 96.44%, RSD 1.51%. Conclusion This method is simple and reliable for the quality control of herbs hawthorn provides fast and accurate determination method.

Abstract: ObjectiveTo develop a method for determination of the content of quercetin in Crataegus sanguinea by HPLC.MethodsThe separation was carried out on Shim-Pack VP-ODS C18 column with methanol-0.04% phosphoric acid solution (52:48) as mobile phase, the detection wavelength was 373nm. ResultsThe regression equation and coefficient was Y = 2 855.4X-10 974 (r = 0.999 9, n = 5) for quercetin. The linear range was 0.018 9 ~ 0.056 6μ g. The average recovery and precision (RSD ) of quercetin was 96.44% and 1.51%, respectively. ConclusionThis method is simple, accurate and can be used for the quality control of Chinese Hawthorn.
