[Methods] Combined external fixation of distal humerus comminuted fracture of 17 cases. [Conclusion] The hybrid external fixation of comminuted or open distal humerus fractures, trauma, reliable fixation allows early active elbow high cure rate and few complications, results were satisfactory.
