[Abstract] Objective: To analyze the infant saliva composition and eating behavior relationships. Methods: 369 cases of baby’s eating behavior questionnaire survey to collect the baby’s saliva to determine which amylase, K +, Na +, Cl-, glucose, total protein, total cholesterol, triglyceride levels, with statistical analysis research. Results: The eating behaviors of babies, the salivary amylase, K +, Na +, Cl-, total cholesterol levels are different, saliva composition and There is some dietary behavior relationship. Conclusion: Components of saliva guidance for dietary behavior has a certain practical significance.

[Abstract] Objective: To analyze the relationships between saliva constituent and diet behavior in infant.Methods: Three hundred and sixty nine infants were adopted in the study.Questionnaires about the infants ‘diet behavior were collected.The subjects’ saliva was obtained.Amylase , K +, Na +, Cl-, glucose, total proteins, total cholesterols and triglyceride were determined and analyzed by SPSS. Results: There were significant differences in salivary amylase, K +, Na +, Cl-and total cholesterols among infants on different diet.There were certain relationships between saliva constituent and diet behavior. Conclusion: Investigating of saliva constituent is important in infant to guide their diet behavior.
