Methods in April 2004 ~ October 2008 the Centre implemented corrective surgery CPB 1800 cases of heart . the result of accidents during CPB in 6 cases (incidence rate of 0.33%): Domestic bubble oxygenation dysfunction in 1 case, imports of ECMO hollow fiber membrane blocked in 1 case, 1 case of coronary air embolism, arterial air embolism pipeline 2 cases, 1 case of venous catheter slippage, the timely and effective treatment without fatal cases. Conclusion infant CPB many links, risks, and strengthen teamwork, clear responsibilities and emergency CPB can effectively reduce the incidence of accidents, the correct treatment is to reduce sequelae guarantee. METHODS 1800 infants underwent surgical correction of congenital heart disease in our center from April, 2004 to October, 2008. RESULTS Accident was 0.33% (6 / 1800), including 1 case of insufficient capacity of oxygenation of bubble oxygenator, 1 case of blockage in hollow fiber membrance oxygenator, 1 case of aeroembolism in coronary artery, 2 cases of aeroembolism in artery tube and 1 case of venous cannalla slip out. There was no death.CONCLUSION The characteristic of CPB in infants is more complicated and high risk.
