Methods of five hospitals in the city part of a questionnaire circulated clinical nurses, were retrospectively underwent statistical analysis. The results of 167 nurses have occurred within 1 year of sharp injuries to varying degrees, the occurrence rate of 100%; a total of 516 needle stick injuries occur, the annual per capita rate of 3.1 times hurt; glass ampoule 176 damage, 1.1 times the per capita rate of stab wounds; others such as knives, scissors and other damage 66 times, 0.4 times per capita. Conclusion nurses occupational hazards faced by sharp injury, various measures should be taken to further strengthen the nursing staff awareness of prevention of sharps injuries, the implementation of effective preventive measures to ensure physical and mental health nursing. Results 167 nurses in 1 year had the varying degree sharp instrument wound and the formation rate reached 100%. The needle stabbed altogether 516 times and year puncture wound rate was average per person 3.1 times. The ampoule glass damaged 176 times and year puncture wound rate was average per person 1.1 times. Others such as knife cuts damaged 66 times and year average per person was 0.4 time.Conclusion As the nursing staffs face with sharp instrument damage in various aspects, we should take the countermeasure, strengthen guard consciousness of the nursing staffs, implement the effect
