Mushroom polysaccharides on immune function of radiation injury protection

PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 11 Mushroom polysaccharides on immune function of radiation injury protection Of: Wang Hongfang, HIGHER EDUCATIONAL, Pu Yun, Li Jinhua, Xu Kun, Song Xiuling, Juan [Abstract] Objective matsutake polysaccharide (PTM) on the immune function of radiation injury in rats. Methods 90 healthy male ICR mice were randomly divided into control group (NC), irradiated control group (IC) and the PTM group, each Section 30. PTM PTM mice orally given 1200mg/kg dose, day 1, continuous 7d; the first 8 days to give IC group and the PTM group were one-time body irradiation, total dose 2.0Gy. detected after irradiation in mice 1,5,14 days, spleen index, spleen cells to ConA-induced proliferation, macrophage phagocytosis and antibody production capacity. The results compared with the IC group, PTM spleen index of mice, spleen cell proliferative response of ConA macrophage phagocytosis and antibody production capacity were markedly enhanced (P lt;0.01), and 14 days after irradiation PTM spleen index of mice, the proliferation of splenocytes to ConA response capacity, phagocytic rate and antibody producing capacity compared with NC group no significant difference (Pgt; 0.05). Conclusion matsutake polysaccharides on immune function of radiation injury in mice induced significant protection.
