Methods Wucheng Yang Jinhua, Zhejiang, Guangdong College of Pharmacy Port Hospital and the First Affiliated Hospital admissions for 45 to 70-year-old COPD patients with 209 people (male 168 cases, female 41 cases) as the object of study, by sex and age (± 2 years old) 1:1 matching, from the local population selected 209 cases of non-COPD as control, using self-made epidemiological survey form to investigate and carry out lung function testing. The results of smoking, educational level is low, there is a family history of respiratory diseases in childhood often cough and sometimes coughing is the childhood disease risk factors of COPD, their OR values were 2.60 (1.50 ~ 4.52), 1.94 (1.12 ~ 3.37) , 1.87 (1.13 ~ 3.10), 6.53 (1.71 ~ 24.89) and 2.47 (1.08 ~ 5.65). Conclusion smoking, education level is low, there is a family history of respiratory diseases, childhood illness often cough is a risk factor for COPD.
