Methods 52 patients with VaD patients were randomly divided into control group and SBR peptide group, the treatment before and after 12 weeks of treatment respectively The MMSE and ADL scores were compared, and also evaluation of styrene-butadiene Peptide Soft Capsule adverse drug reactions. Results After treatment, the MMSE and ADL scores were significantly higher than before treatment increased (P lt;0.01), compared with the control group , styrene-butadiene peptide group after treatment, MMSE and ADL score improved more significantly (P lt;0.01), and compare the efficiency of the two groups were also significant differences (P lt;0.05). Conclusion peptide Capsule in treating VaD SBR is effective and the adverse little reaction can be used as clinical treatment options. Methods 52 cases with vascular dementia were randomly divided into 2 groups: butylphthalide group and control group; MMSE and ADL scores were applied to patients in both groups before treatment and after being treated for 12 weeks, the results were compared; the evaluation of the side-effect of butylphthalide was made at the same time. Results The scores of MMSE and ADL of the patients in both groups after treatment were much higher than those before treatment (P lt;0.01); the scores of butylphthalide group after treatment were improved much more obviously than those of control group (P lt;0.01), the difference between the 2 groups was of significance (P lt;0.05). Conclusions Butylphthalide is of definite curative effect and of less side effect in treating vascular dementia.
