It is one of vegetables for food in some southern provinces in China. It is often used for stewing soup due to its sweet and cool flavour. Its nature is sweet，pungent and cool，in the spleen and stomach meridians. Its effects include relieving muscles to expel heat，promoting eruption，engendering liquid and relieving thirst，and invigorating splebn yang and relieving diarrhea. It is used to treat some diseases through compatibility of medicine skillfully，such as fever and
