A66-year-oldmalewithSITwasreferredforatwo-monthhistoryofhematochezia.Synchronouscolonictumors werefoundontheproximaltransverseandsigmoidcolon.Thepatientunderwentopentotalcolectomyandwas dischargedwithoutincident.A71-year-oldfemalewithrectosigmoidcoloncancerandSITunderwentlaparoscopy- assistedlowanteriorresection.Fourteenmonthsafterthesurgery,thepatientdevelopedasinglehepatic metastasisandunderwenthepaticsegmentectomy(S6).Forty-sixmonthsafterlaparoscopy-assistedlowanterior resection,thepatientdevelopedmetachronousearlygastriccancerontheantrumandunderwentradicalsubtotal gastrectomywithgastroduodenostomy.Thepatientisdoingwellwithoutrecurrencefor28months.
