Abstract ABSTRACT Objective: To studythe expression ofPIK3CAand SOX2aswell as collect intact clinical dataandfollowuptheirpostoperative survivalinnon-small lungcancer(NSCLC),at the same time investigate the mechanism of action and transreplication of PIK3CA and SOX2 andtry to explore anew breakthrough forthe studyof occurrence,risk ， factorandtargettherapyinlungcancer. Method： Apply the immunohistochemistry stainmethod to investigate the expression of PIK3CA, SOX2 in 60 NSCLC and 20 normal lung tissues adjacent to lung carcinoma，andfollowup recurrence andmetastasis ofpostoperative .Statisticand analyze whether there are differences in expression of PIK3CA,SOX2 in non-small cell lung cancer and normal lung tissues adjacent to lung carcinoma ,as well as in group of different pathological features; further analysis the relationship between PIK3CA,SOX2andtheriskfactorinlungcancer. Result: 1.Expression of PIK3CA in non-small cell lung cancer: results of immunohistochemistry showed that PIK3CA in non-small cell lung cancer and adjacent normal tissue expression rates were 48.3 (29/40) and 5 (1/20) respectively,andthedifferencewasstatisticallysignificant(P0.005). 2.The relationship between PIK3CA expression and clinical pathological features:theexpressionofPIK3CAhadnosignificantdifferenceamongthegroupsof different sex,age,lymphnodemetastasis, differentiationdegree,differentTNMstage (P0.05),but these are significantdifferenceinthe groups ofpathological types and recurrence andmetastasis (P 0.05),andthepositive expressionrates ofPIK3CAin group of adenocarcinoma carcinoma tissue, with recurrence and metastasis was higherthanthatofsquamouscarcinomatissues,withoutrecurrenceandmetastasis; 3.Expression of SOX2innon-small cell lung cancer:results ofimmunohistoc- hemistryshowedthat SOX2innon-smallcelllungcancerandadjacentnormaltissue
