The solution of the initial-boundary problem for Boussinesq approximation in the waveguide mode is presented in terms of the stream func- tion.Theorthogonal eigenfunctions describe avertical shape oftheinternal wave modes andsatisfy aSturm-Liouville problem. Thehorizontal pro?le isde?ned by a coupled KdV system which is numerically solved via a ?nite-di?erence scheme for which we prove the convergence and stability.
