Recently,Baikovetal.[2]developedthetheoryofapproximatetransformationgroups withtheaimofinvestigatingsymmetry properties ofdi?erentialequationswithasmall parameter(thedetaileddiscussiononthistheoryanditsalgorithmscanbefoundin[3]). Itwasshown byIbragimov [7]thatifanordinary di?erential equation ofthesecond- orderadmitstwoparameterpointapproximatetransformation groupinthesenseof[2], thenthemethodofsuccessivereductionofordercanbeappliedtotheequation.
