Obesityisanepidemicproblemintheworldandisassociatedwithseveralhealthproblems,includingdiabetes,cardiovascular disease,respiratoryfailure,muscleweakness,andcancer.Theprecisemolecularmechanismsbywhichobesityinducesthesehealth problemsarenotyetclear.Tobetterunderstandthepathomechanismsofhumandisease,goodanimalmodelsareessential.Inthis paper,wewillanalyzeanimalmodelsofobesityandtheiruseintheresearchofobesity-associatedhumanhealthconditionsand diseasessuchasdiabetes,cancer,andobstructivesleepapneasyndrome. 1.Introduction with obesity-related pathology using animal models and alsoproposefurtherdemandforanimalresearchmodelsto addresstheworldwideobesityepidemic.
