Inthispaper,bu?erinsertionisconsideredwitha?xed-outlineconstraintusingLessFlexibilityFirst(LFF)algorithm.Compared withSimulatedAnnealing(SA),ourworkisabletodistinguishgeometricdi?erencesbetweentwo?oorplancandidates,evenif theyhavethesametopologicalstructure.Thisishelpfultogetabetterresultforbu?erplanningsincebu?erinsertionisquite sensitivetoageometricchange.WealsoextendthepreviousLFFtoamorerobustversioncalledSliced-LFFtoimprovebu?er planning.Moreover,a2-stagedLFFframeworkandapost-greedyprocedureareintroducedbasedonournet-classingstrategy and?nallyachieveasigni?cantimprovementonthesuccessrateofbu?erinsertion(40.7%and37.1%indi?erentfeaturesizes).
