We found that, in comparison with neutral faces, masked fearful faces significantly decreased the AB magnitude (Experiment 1), whereas unmasked fearful faces significantlyincreasedtheABmagnitude(Experiment2).Theseresultsindicatethateffectsofemotionalexpressiononthe ABaremodulatedbythelevelofawareness.
