Methodology/PrincipalFindings:Atotalof147HCWswereenrolled;23ofwhomwereBCGvaccinated.95HCWs(64.6%) hadapreviouspositiveTSTandwerenotretested;and52HCWshadapreviousnegativeTSTorweretestedforthefirst time.WhenweanalysedindividualswithoutpreviouspositiveTST,thenumberofpositiveresultsforT-SPOT.TBwas12/52 (23.1%);andforQFN-G-IT,9/52(17.3%).Theglobalconcordance(k)betweenT-SPOT.TBandQFN-G-ITwithTSTwas0.754 and0.929respectively.OfindividualswithpreviouspositiveTST,T-SPOT.TBandQFN-G-ITwerenegativein51.6%(49/95) and62.1%(59/95)respectively,decreasingtheconcordanceto0.321and0.288,respectively.Innon-BCGvaccinatedHCWs with previous positive TST a positive IFN-c test was associated with degree of exposure and diameter of TST.
