Together those data indicate that the tight coupling that is normally shown between attention and eye movementsappearstobedisruptedforlow-levelorientinginP1.Acomparabledisruptionwasalsofoundforhigh-level cognitiveprocessingtasks,namelyreadingandscenescanning.Thefindingsarediscussedinrelationtosampling,attention andawarenessinneglect.
