This phenomenon indicates that the optimization process of non- homogeneousmaterialssuchasbonefollowsthesamelawofsuperpositionofcenterofmassandcentroidofshapeasthat ofhomogeneousmaterials.Baseduponthisprinciple,anindexrevealingtherelationshipbetweenthecenterofmassand centroidofshapeofthecompactboneisproposed.Anotherindexrevealingtherelationshipbetweentissuedensityand distributionradiusisfollowed.Applyingtheseindexestoevaluatethestrengthofbone,wehavesomenewfindings.
