Analyses of the mitochondrial hypervariable first region of individual OrienteB,whichbelongstotheHV-1haplogroup,suggestforthefirsttimeongeneticgroundsthathumanslivinginSicily during the early Holocene could have originated from groups that migrated from the Italian Peninsula around the Last GlacialMaximum
