Methodology: A cross-sectional epidemiological survey was conducted in the recently established Taabo health demographicsurveillancesystem(HDSS)insouth-centralCo?ted’Ivoire,toprovidenew,population-basedevidenceonthe disabilitycausedbyschistosomiasisandsoil-transmittedhelminthiasis.Parasitologicalresultsfromstool,urine,andblood examinationswerejuxtaposedtoqualityoflife(QoL)questionnaireresultsfrom187adults.Amultivariablelinearregression modelwithstepwisebackwardeliminationwasusedtoidentifysignificantassociations,consideringalsosociodemographic characteristicsobtainedfromtheTaaboHDSSdatabase. Principal Findings: Prevalences for hookworm, Plasmodium spp., Trichuris trichiura, Schistosoma haematobium and Schistosomamansoniwere39.0%,18.2%,2.7%,2.1%and2.1%,respectively.
