By the study of the different concepts of imagery between the west and the east, and the study of Image Painting principles and features, it elaborates that Image Painting plays an active role in art teaching in senior middle school. These active effects include the stimulation and improvement for the high middle school students in the areas such as intelligence, thinking, philosophy and many other qualities. In order to make better use of the active effects, this paper provides four teaching methods for teachers, which involve courses explaining, works appreciation, creation training and interpretation of reproduction.
