PAGE 6 - PAGE 1 - 浅析美国霸权主义的文化根源 瞿倩 历史02级 内容摘要：美国霸权主义的产生和发展，除了经济、军事和政治上的因素外，还具有其深刻的文化根源。文化是美国霸权主义产生的精神动力和根源。在众多的文化因素中，“天赋使命”观、功利主义和务实精神是推动美国霸权主义的价值观和精神动力，扩张意识则使美国霸权主义以推行经济扩张和文化扩张为特点和手段。从文化角度来分析美国霸权主义的根源，可以使我们从另一个角度来看美国的霸权主义，从而对其有更全面的认识。这有利于我们更好地把握美国霸权主义的发展趋势，制定应对霸权主义的政策。 关 键 词：美国外交 霸权主义 文化 Abstract: Besides the economic, military and political causes, culture is also a profound cause of the occurrence and development of American hegemonism, for it is the spiritual motivation and origin of American hegemonism. Among so many elements of American culture, the Manifest Destiny, utilitarianism and practical idea are the values and spiritual motivation which cause the diplomatic policies of hegemonism. Meanwhile, the expansion of economy and culture that originates in the idea of expansion is the character and means of American hegemonism. Through analyzing these culture causes of American hegemonism, we can look at it from another angle to understand it better. Furthermore, it is possible for us to predict the tendency of American hegemonism and to make appropriate policies to deal with it as well.
