Cognitive Schema Theory and English Teaching [Abstract] With the recent development of cognitive linguistics, schema theory has been gradually developed into an important theory, which is the study of psychology and linguistics, a product of integration. This theory has increasingly been concerned about the foreign language educators, and successfully applied to teaching. In this paper, a brief description schema theory, the analysis of schema theory in developing foreign language learners in reading, listening comprehension, vocabulary, memory and language skills on the prominent role and significance.
