[ABSTRACT] from the analysis of adult learners of English learning classroom performance anxiety factors start to explore the causes of anxiety, classroom, and on this basis, propose some feasible strategies to help adult learners to overcome the anxiety, improve their English listening and speaking ability .

Today’s society the need for development and international exchanges of employment of those of English listening and speaking ability higher and higher requirements. Efforts to improve the ability of adult students are heard in adult English teaching has become one of the problems demanding prompt solution. Adult English education from the current emphasis on reading ability in the past only to develop a single ability teaching model to the listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in an effort to raise more integrated teaching. In particular, listening and speaking ability as a modern language culture is an important skill to be more attention than ever before.
