Methods: Questionnaires were used to examine 563 female college stu- dents. The methods of correlation, path analysis and regression were used to analyze data. Results: 1) Body shame, controls of body, self-esteem and happiness have significant correlation on differ- ent scale (r = −0.126 - 0.505, p 0.05, p 0.01); 2) The mediating effects of self-esteem is signifi- cant, self-esteem has a total mediating effects between body shame, controls of body and happi- ness among female college students.
