[ Ss: He’s in the library.] What’s Gogo doing in the number 1? [Ss: He’s working.] Is he working loudly? [Ss: No, he’s working quietly.] Ask questions about the other picture. Make sure to point out the answers. 3. Practice Ask four Ss to read out the sentences filling in the missing word. Give Ss time to finish writing the missing words. Then ask them to find these words in the grid. Circulate around the classroom to see how Ss are doing. When Ss are finished, put them into pairs. Have Ss compare their sentences with each other. Ask some Ss to write the sentences on the board so that the whole class can check the answers. 4. Listening practice. 1) Have Ss look at the pictures in the page. T: Let’s listen to the tape. Play the tape and have Ss point to each word as the tape says it. T: Let’s listen again and this time, repeat. Have Ss repeat after the tape. After enough practice, point to the pictures randomly and have Ss say the words. 2) Have individual Ss read aloud the lyrics line by line. T: Let’s listen to the chant. Play the tape once. T: OK.
