The results illustrate that the hydroxyl silanol and physical adsorption of water stretching vibration of modified silica absorption peak has decreased in about 3400 cm-1, the bending vibration of physical adsorption of water absorption peak also weakened in about 1630 cm-1. It indicates that the silica has been modified and the modified silica is amorphous. Preliminary explore the ability of oil adsorption, the silica indicate has a certain impact on oil absorption.
