Abstract
Adaptationtocollegeisahotstudyissueinthefieldofeducationandpsychology,of
whichself-conceptisaninnersignificantfactor.Thesubjectsinthestudyare518college
studentsrandomlysampledinShenyang.TheTennesseeSelf-conceptScale(forcollege
students)revisedthroughconformationfactoranalysisandLuXiefengsCollege
StudentsAdaptabilityInventoryareusedastheinstrumentsofthestudy.Byregression
analysis,thisstudysystematicallyexplorestheeffectofself-conceptontheadaptationto
college,whichenrichesthestudycontentsofadaptationtocollege,widenthestudyfield
andprovidesomereferencesandenlightenmentsforpsychologicalcounselingand
collegeadaptationeducation.
Theresultshowsthat:
(1)TheglobalconditionofcollegestudentsselfconceptandadaptationtoCollege
isgood
(2)Thereexistdistinctsexdifferencesamongcollegestudentsingloballevel,moral
self,familyself,mentalselfandEnvironmentalGeneralEvaluation.Femalecollege
studentsshowsbetterthanmalestudents,whiletherearentdistinctsexdifferencein
otheraspects.
(3)Thereexistdistinctgradedifferenceamongcollegestudentsinthegloballevel,
moralself,familyself,roleself,CareerChoiceAdaptabilityandLivelihood
Self-managementAdaptability,whiletherearentdistinctgradedifferencesinother
aspects.
(4)TherearentdistinctsubjectdifferencesandalsoUrban-ruraldifferenceexceptin
familyself,livelihoodself-managementAdaptabilityandEnvironmentalGeneral
Evaluation.
(5)Theglobalself-conceptishighlypositiverelatedtotheglobaladaptationto
college,andshowspositiverelationinallconcretedimensionsexceptafew.Theeffectis
greatandhasstrongpredictingpower.
(6)Thelevelofself-conceptinconcretedimensionsshowsextremelypositive
relationstotheadaptationconditioninconcretedimensions.Theeffectanditspowerare
bothdifferent.
