Mathematical knowledge from reality, mathematics is an objective reality in real life practical problems. Under the New Curriculum Mathematics Teaching Students pay more attention to the application of consciousness. Nobel laureate Steven Chu has incisively pointed out that ‘Chinese students in hands-on ability is poor, lack of innovative capacity, and this is a major gap between American students’. In the New Curriculum Standards stressed that: ‘Middle School math teacher attention to students in real life found in mathematics, applied mathematics capabilities. ‘One of the aims of learning mathematics is to develop students ability to solve practical problems requiring students will present, analyze and solve practical significance with or related disciplines, production and life math problems, using mathematical language presentation on the problem of communication, the formation of awareness and ability to use mathematics. Thus, students find math in real life, and to use such a critical awareness of mathematics.
Teaching, teachers should insist on ‘from life into mathematics’ teaching philosophy, from the student familiar with the life lived start, select students to raise questions around things, so that students feel that life everywhere in mathematics, mathematics on the side.
