Language and cultural background to implement the requirements of the New Curriculum Standards
Abstract: Education is itself a cultural phenomenon, but as a part of human culture, the language of education is education. Therefore, to improve language education under the New Criteria, in addition to fully tap the content of language courses outside of their own culture, we must establish a culturally appropriate and language courses in social and cultural environment.

To promote the implementation of the New Curriculum Standards, we have devoted their energy to focus on language teaching in New Curriculum to the new changes in the language awareness of the study for the New Curriculum content knowledge, understanding and for language teachers, the expansion of the formation of new ideas, advocate the use of new ideas and operational design. These studies are useful and effective, but also there are limitations, and their backs more often confined to language education in their own right than the right, but often lacked some background thinking and research, in particular the lack of close ties with the language education concern about the cultural background and thus are bound to reduce the content of language curriculum standards, and is incompatible with the language and cultural characteristics.
First, the cultural connotation of language education
