Through the analysis of the existing load distribution and electric substation type of its capacity, to determine the clustering center, the radius and density distribution, in combination with GIS data processing function, and in a substation load rate and power supply radius as con- straint conditions, the sting of station of electric substation and the supply district are determined, quality of power supply is improved, and the investment and operating cost are reduced. The re- sults of the simulation example demonstrate the superiority and the economy of the algorithm.
