Maintaining appropriate anesthetic depth has been proved to reduce the incidence rate of intraoperative awareness. Recently there are many methods of monitoring the depth of anesthesia in China and abroad, which have their own advantages and disadvantages. This article evaluated the widely used methods of monitoring the depth of anesthesia in clinical to explore a better intraoperative anesthetic depth detection technology, in order to provide clinical evidence of preventing intraoperative awareness.
