How to market your ability in job-hunting? The stepping stone should be your well-prepared resume. Tips to follow when writing a resume: ?The resume can be arranged by classifying your life experiences in the time sequence. ? Be honest and confident. ? Control the length within 2 pages. Main Idea Listen to the recording first, then try to figure out the main idea of this text. (SB, P.2) The writer was interviewed by the headmaster of a school and was offered a job which was none too pleasant. Further Comprehension ? Describe the appearance of the headmaster. ? Tell what you know about the young man. ? Judge the following statements T/F. 1. The writer thought that the likelihood of him getting the job was not great though he was young and eager to do something useful. (T) 2. The headmaster liked the young man at first sight. (F) 3.
