We invest igat ed th e int er facial /8YSZ / reactions and aging behavior of the sandwich couples. TiO Cu-Ti-O A eutectic structure of Ag and Cu , TiO, Cu Ti O 3 3 Cu-Ti-O and Cu Ti O phases were ob ser ved in the 8YSZ/ 2 4 CusilABA/430SS sandwich couples reacted at 833C Cu-Ti for 60 min. When these specimens were set at 700C Ti in the atmosphere for 24 h, Ag-rich phase and CuO Cu Ag dendrite phases between the 8YSZ and 430SS, and Cu-Ag 700 Cu O, Cu O and TiO layer s close t o 8Y SZ wer e 2 2 750 24 ob ser ved .
