Why doesn’t anyone remember the most important thing that ever happened to us-being born? First learning to eat First step Because we have to learn how to remember , and this comes with growth of the brain as it develops specific functions . As the brain develops , so does our capacity to remember , and to learn from experience . These two skills go together – if we remember bad things , it is because there is a lesson to be learnt from them . So memory is selective as we grow older- our earliest memory changes and goes on changing , until we reach adolescence. We can’t remember things that happened before 3 years old , like our memories was fade away . The happiness ,the sadness , the hard working ,all the things are fade away . But after that age we can remember the sense when we face different things.
