To clarify the production mechanism and inner driving force of original breast loom and errors of research achievements of original breast loom in Chinese prehistory, this study thinks that weaving directly originates from the weaving method of original hanging-type yarn, which is caused by hardening requirement of yarn software in weaving operation, with philosophical thinking and counterquestion method based on relevant ancient and modern image information in China and foreign countries and archaeological evidence. However, the weaving method of original hanging-type yarn has some inconvenient operations, thus causing the emergence of original breast loom. Unearthed cultural relics of original breast loom in Chinese prehistory and spatial and temporal distribution of relevant image information indicate its spread from north to south, which is consistent with
