The five major tasks of strategic management and strategic management is the enterprise senior management personnel to long-term survival of enterprises, and continue to develop, based on the full analysis of the internal and external environment, effective strategy to determine and choose the goal, and a dynamic management process of strategy implementation, control and evaluation. In todays increasingly complex and increasingly competitive environment, strategic management, as an activity of top management, shows its importance in enterprise management.
Management (Strategic) can be defined as the art and science of making, implementing, and evaluating cross functional decisions that enable organizations to achieve their goals. Its purpose is to create a unique and advantageous position for the organization, to successfully compete with its competitors, to meet customer needs, and to achieve outstanding corporate performance.
The term strategic management is synonymous with strategic planning (strategic, planning). Strategic planning is more widely used in the business world, while strategic management is often used in academia. In some cases, the term strategic management refers to the formulation, implementation and evaluation of strategy, while strategic planning refers only to strategy formulation.
Strategic management according to its purpose, including the following five tasks:
1. put forward the companys strategy, future business and company specified in the company ahead of the destination, so as to put forward a long-term development for the company to reverse, a clear picture of the company will do our best to enter the career, the organization has a sense of purpose for everything.
2. establish a target system and translate the companys strategic vision into the specific performance standards that the company will meet.
