According to the working position of the oil cylinder, there are (a) inverted shock absorbers (i.e., the oil cylinder position is above and the piston rod is below); (b) positive shock absorber (oil cylinder position below, piston rod above). 4. According to the working medium, there is (a) spring shock absorber; (b) spring-air damping type shock absorber (for the limited damping force of the air, the damping effect is not ideal, generally used only for the low speed light motorcycle for the shock absorber); (c) hydraulic shock absorber; (d) oil - gas combined front fork shock absorber.
