The Project OHice 01 the IIuning Freeway Extending Construction , Nanjing 21004日， China) Abstract: The mechanical character and the function of fiberglass/polyester paving mat was introduced , the mechanical property of the paving mat was compared with the pure bitumen compound based on the indoor test of composite asphalt mixture. The practical application of fiberglass/polyester paving mat in the Hu-Ning highway extension project was introduced. The result shown that it can improve the capability of the bitumen pavement , minimize the stress concentration in the joint between the old and new surfaces , mitigate and postpone the reflection crack of asphalt pavement road , prolonging the service life of the pavement.
