Then, lock your four-wheel drive into the cross-country low gear and enable the central differential lock (if any). Some people may prefer a high-speed block, but I prefer to use a slow gear, which can distribute more torque to the driving wheel faster. Why do you need a bigger driver? Because the most important thing on the muddy road is the forward impulse. In the mud, the tread will soon be muddled by the mud, and what you desire most is a rush to pull the tire out of the quagmire, not to dig a hole in the ground.
