The occurrence of upper lu bar intervertebral disc herniation ay be relevant to age, sex, occupation, genetics and history. The incidence has an ascendant tendency for the past few years. The anato ic characteristics ofupper lu bar intervertebraldischerniation result in co plex clinical appearances and heigher isdiagnosis rate. It should be reco arded that surgicaloperation on ti e to prevent the irreversible neurological inju ry and defor ity.
