The spec mi ens are classified into 3 group s w ith the streng th grade o f C30, C50 and C80, respective ly. Each group includes 3 spec mi ens, 2 of wh ich have been exposed to the elevated tem perature o f 600 and 800 , respective ly. During a fire under unstressed condit ion, the tem pera ture field ism easured and concrete appearance is observed in de tail after f ire. T hen the shearresistance test on the smi p ly suppo rted deep beam s are undertaken. Com pared w ith those of in am b ien t tem perature, the deep beam s a fter fire are expermi entally investiga ted in the respects o f shear capacity, de flect ion and failure m ode. F inally, the theore tica l results are com paratively stud ied w ith the tested ones, and som e equat ions are recomm ended to calcu la te the shear
