Comparison of Chinese medicine and Western Medicine

Abstract: under the current educational system, the Chinese medicine we are studying is not purely Chinese medicine. Some thinking methods and abstracts of Western medicine can affect our study of traditional Chinese medicine. The differences between Chinese medicine and Western medicine, especially the difference of thinking mode and cognitive method, are the difficulties in the study of Chinese and Western medicine. This article focuses on the thinking methods, cognitive methods, and differences in diagnosis and treatment methods of TCM and Western medicine. By comparison, perhaps we can guide us to learn the two different kinds of medicine both in Chinese and Western medicine. Key words: Chinese and Western differences in thinking methods, cognitive methods, in the contemporary education system, the study of traditional Chinese medicine is no longer the traditional apprenticeship, the Chinese medicine institutions recruit high school graduates. Before entering the University, we used logical thinking methods in our study. The accumulation of knowledge was passive and acquired through memory. However, the traditional Chinese medicine way of thinking is speculative thinking, the accumulation of knowledge is active, after thinking for. At present, the education of Chinese medicine is a traditional Chinese medicine, traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine courses in our curriculum is set up at the same time, the fact that western medicine courses than Chinese medicine courses, so we study the way of thinking can not be adjusted in a timely manner, to accept the knowledge of TCM, the subconscious will refuse the thinking of Chinese
