Method Eighty patients were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 40 in each. The treatment group was intervened by needling method of reinforcing deficiency and reducing excess in association with stroke unit mode, while the control group was intervened by ordinary needling method in association with stroke unit mode. The score of Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and treatment effect were observed 4 weeks later. Result The total effective rate was 92.5% in the treatment group, significantly higher than 87.5% in the control gro
